Private security in Courchevel
Chalets in Courchevel 1850 and 1650, late-night arrivals, family stays. Officers based in the resort from December to April.
December to April.
We do not commute. For the season our officers are accommodated on site, in Courchevel or down the valley, and walk to their post when the road is closed.
What we protect here
A chalet in Courchevel is protected differently from a villa by the sea. There are few ways in, but the snow changes them every night. Arrivals are late, often after a flight and a transfer from Geneva, Lyon or the altiport. Household staff, ski instructors, private chefs, resort deliveries: a great many people pass through a chalet's door in a single day of the season.
Our clients in Courchevel are families staying for two or three weeks, owners who are absent for the rest of the year, and the concierge services and agencies that manage chalets for rent. Many arrive from London, the Gulf or further afield and want the house ready and watched before they land. They expect a presence that is warm towards guests, firm towards everyone else, and invisible from the slopes.
We operate in Courchevel 1850, 1650 (Moriond), 1550 and Le Praz, as well as in Méribel and the Bozel valley. Outside the season we watch over closed chalets and renovation sites, most of which run between May and November.

How we work here
An assignment in Courchevel is prepared before the season. We visit the chalet, identify the entrances in snow conditions, agree the instructions with the concierge and the household, and set the calendar of stays. The officer knows the chalet before the family arrives.
On post, the reference shift runs from 21:00 to 07:00. A patrol on taking up post, every opening checked, nine patrols including seven at random times, a logbook, and a report sent to the owner or the property manager each morning, in English if you prefer. In an isolated chalet the officer carries a lone-worker protection device linked to our duty desk.
Officers are accommodated on site for the whole assignment. Changes of shift are organised in advance and do not depend on the state of the road, the weather or the last lift of the day.
Three situations we see often
A chalet left empty from May to November
Patrols at varying times, doors, windows and plant rooms checked, an inspection after every snowfall or storm, renovation contractors let in, a weekly report to the owner.
A New Year's Eve party for sixty guests in 1850
Invitations checked at the chalet door, shuttles and valets managed on a snow-covered road, an officer inside for personal belongings, a presence until the last guests and their drivers have left.
A family staying two weeks with children
A day officer at the chalet for the comings and goings of staff and instructors, a security driver for journeys around the resort, night watch after dark. The team looks after the children without ever weighing on the holiday.
Frequently asked questions
How much does chalet security cost in Courchevel?
The rate depends on the length of the stay, the hours, the number of officers and their accommodation on site. Nights, Sundays, French public holidays and urgent requests carry a surcharge. We send you a detailed quote within 24 hours, for a single stay or for the whole season.
Is your company licensed to operate in France?
Yes. MAROS Sécurité holds CNAPS authorisation AUT-091-2124-02-24-20250968611, and every officer holds a CNAPS professional licence, the individual card required by French law. The company carries professional liability insurance with MAIF.
Do your officers stay in the resort during the season?
Yes. They are accommodated in Courchevel or down the valley for the whole assignment. Changes of shift are planned in advance and do not depend on the weather or the state of the road.
Can you start tomorrow?
Between Christmas and New Year, and again during the February half-term weeks, our teams are booked well in advance. We recommend reserving as soon as your stay is confirmed. Outside those periods a quick start remains possible, with an urgency surcharge at less than 48 hours' notice.
Do you work with concierge services and chalet rental agencies?
Yes. We work for concierge companies, agencies and owners who let their chalet, from France and abroad. We coordinate with your teams for arrivals, departures, household staff and the resort's contractors.
What happens if the road is closed?
Nothing changes. The officer is already on site, changes of shift are organised with margin, and our duty desk remains reachable. If a journey becomes impossible you are told immediately and the plan is adjusted.
