Within a few kilometres, the Gulf of Saint-Tropez holds very different kinds of property: villas on the hills above Ramatuelle and Gassin, waterfront estates along the route des Salins and the Cap, village houses, yachts at berth or anchored off Pampelonne. Each has its own entrances, its own vegetation, its own neighbours and habits. We always begin with a visit, by day and then by night, before we write the security plan.
The season changes everything. From June to September the peninsula keeps late hours: receptions, runs to and from the beach clubs, household staff, deliveries, guests arriving by tender. The plan has to screen without weighing on anyone. For the rest of the year the houses are closed, the gardens are large, and alarms go off at three in the morning for a wild boar or for something else. Someone has to go and look.
For an international owner, the question is often simpler: who is on the ground when we are not. We are. How we work here
A villa guarded by MAROS Sécurité is guarded according to an assignment brief written with you: who may enter, which guests are expected, which household staff, what to do with deliveries and what to do if the alarm sounds. The officer takes up post with an opening patrol, checks every door, window and gate, then carries out nine patrols per shift, seven of them at random times. Everything is entered in the logbook.
Each morning you receive the end-of-shift report. It tells you what happened, and most of the time that nothing did. That is the point. Reports can be written in English, and your property manager or family office can be copied in.
In summer we shape our hours around yours: a stronger presence in the evening, an extra officer on reception days, coordination with your crew and your concierge. Because our office is in Gassin, reinforcements or a change of shift are minutes away rather than hours.

Night shifts, Sundays, French public holidays and requests at less than 48 hours' notice carry a surcharge. Is your company licensed to operate in France?
Yes. MAROS Sécurité holds CNAPS authorisation AUT-091-2124-02-24-20250968611, and every officer holds a CNAPS professional licence, the individual card required by French law. The company carries professional liability insurance with MAIF.
Do you provide overnight security on the peninsula?
It is the heart of what we do. Our reference shifts run from 21:00 to 07:00. From our office in Gassin we reach Saint-Tropez, Ramatuelle, Gassin, Grimaud and Sainte-Maxime quickly at any hour.
Can you start tomorrow?
Often, yes, particularly outside the season. In July and August we ask you to let us know as early as you can. Starting at less than 48 hours' notice remains possible and carries an urgency surcharge.
Do you work with concierge services, property managers and rental agencies?
Yes. We regularly work on behalf of concierge companies, prestige estate agents, property managers and family offices, in France and abroad. We coordinate with your teams for arrivals, departures and contractors, and we report in English when that is easier for you.
Can you guard a yacht at berth while we are ashore?
Yes, at berth and at anchor. The officer controls the gangway, keeps the list of authorised persons and liaises with the crew and the harbour master. Off-season yacht security is also available.
